We’re a fast-moving, creative team building a media platform that blends storytelling, authenticity, and performance across YouTube, podcasting, and social.About the RoleWe’re looking for a skilled and creative Podcast Editor to join the Not Alone production team. You’ll be responsible for editing one full-length video podcast per week (multi-camera format), plus creating six short-form clips and one trailer for Instagram Reels and TikTok. This role is perfect for an editor who understands pacing, emotion, and the nuances of a great conversation, and can turn raw, in-studio footage into polished, high-performing content that connects deeply with audiences.Responsibilities- Edit one 45-minute to 1-hour multi-camera video podcast per week, ensuring professional pacing, clean cuts, and visual consistency
- Collaborate with the podcast producer and video team to select standout moments for short-form edits.
- Create four short-form clips (20–45 seconds) per episode, optimised for Instagram Reels.
- Cut a 30-second trailer for the episode, optimised for Instagram Reels.
- Sync and balance audio across all camera angles, removing background noise and improving clarity.
- Add music, logos, occasional b-roll, and simple lower thirds or motion graphics, following existing brand templates.
- Maintain a consistent editing style and tone aligned with the Not Alone brand.
- Deliver all weekly edits on schedule.
- Keep files organized and labeled for smooth asset hand-offs and archiving.
What Success Looks Like- Weekly episodes are polished, emotionally resonant, and consistent with brand standards
- Short-form clips perform strongly on Instagram
- Smooth coordination with the producer and video team to meet weekly publishing deadlines
- Efficient workflow and organised project management
- Continuous improvement in editing style and social performance
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience editing podcasts, YouTube videos, or long-form interviews
- Strong command of pacing, narrative flow, and storytelling through editing
- Experience with multi-camera video and audio balancing
- Proficiency in professional editing software like Adobe Premiere. A plus if you can use Photoshop and/or After Effects.
- Understanding of social-first content, particularly for Instagram Reels and Stories, as well as TikTok. Experience creating additional static social assets would be a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a creative team
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage weekly production cycles
- Passion for storytelling, wellness, and meaningful conversations is a plus
